COVID-19 update:

On Sunday 6 September 2020, the Premier announced Victoria’s COVID-19 roadmap to reopening. Many of the Stage 4 restrictions remain in place but there have been some slight changes. Find out more here.

Victory Park

Victory Park is a popular suburban park for relaxing, playing and participating in sport. The tree lined boundary provides a canopy for the variety of activities held here.

How is COVID-19 impacting our parks?

Our parks and open space remain open for exercise between the permitted times 5am to 9pm.


Exercise is now limited to two hours per day and no more than five kilometres from your home. Two people or a household can meet outdoors for a maximum of two hours for exercise or recreation outside your home, as long as neither of you travel more than five kilometres from your home. Always remember to wear a face covering and practise social distancing.

Playground

The small playground at Victory Park offers a range of play opportunities, including:

  • four slides, including a tunnel slide
  • spider web climber
  • springers
  • ball toss tower
  • education panels
  • shade sails provide protection from the sun

Picnic shelter and BBQs

The picnic shelter is located close to the playground, with 2 picnic tables available for social gatherings. There are BBQ facilities nearby to the picnic shelter to add another element to your picnic.

Book and reserve a picnic shelter

To apply online you will need to create an account or login. The cost to book a picnic shelter starts at $143.

The full booking fee payment is required within 48 hours of receipt of invoice.

You are required to email us proof of payment if your booking has been approved within 48 hours notice from your booking date.

Equipment such as marquees, jumping castles, petting zoos and BBQs are not permitted without written consent from us. 

Please note:  A minimum notice of 2 business days is required for all bookings (subject to availability).

BBQs are a free communal facility for all users of the park. They are not included as part of a picnic shelter reservation.

Active recreation

Victory Park has many opportunities for sport and recreation, including:

  • two sports grounds (cricket and soccer)
  • internal walking/running pathways
  • a golf birdie cage
  • cricket training nets.

Did you know? Victory Park is home to West Bentleigh Cricket Club, Victory Tennis Club, and Caulfield United Soccer Club.

Dog leash information

  • The car park and playground are on-leash areas.
  • The sportsgrounds at Victory Park are off-leash areas
