Meetings and agendas

Ordinary meetings of Glen Eira City Council are held in the Council Chamber at Glen Eira Town Hall, on the corner of Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield unless held virtually due to COVID in accordance with either DHHS advice or Part 12 – ‘COVID-19 temporary measures’ of the Local Government Act 2020.

COVID information
Refer to the individual meeting agenda pages for confirmation of whether the meeting will be held in-person or virtually and whether public participation will be permitted or not.

COVID requirements if attending a Council Meeting

A QR Code will be placed at the Council Chamber entrance, register before entering the Council Chamber.

Once in the Chamber, please remain seated. If there are no available seats, move through the Chamber to the next area where you will be able to view the meeting on a TV that will be set up for you. It is against current COVID restrictions for us to have people standing in the Council Chamber and the number of people allowed in this area is limited.

Council will be guided by restrictions set by DHHS which may lead to variations of attendance at Council meetings and public participation. Temporary measures still in place under the Local Government Act 2020 allows Council to return to holding Council meetings virtually should the need arise.
