McKinnon Memorial Garden

Located on the corner of Wattle Grove and McKinnon Road, the large granite obelisk memorial in the centre of McKinnon Memorial Garden is dedicated to those residents who served in the First World War.

How is COVID-19 impacting our parks?

Our parks and open space remain open.


A limit of 10 people from a maximum of two households can meet outdoors (infants under 12 months of age are not included in the cap) for exercise or social interaction outside your home, as long as neither of you travel more than 25 kilometres from your home. Always remember to wear a face covering and practise social distancing.

UPDATED 19 OCTOBER 2020

The large granite obelisk located at McKinnon Memorial Gardens is dedicated to those residents who served in the Frist World War. The gardens feature a variety of low-level plantings and trees. Benches are located within the reserve allow time to sit and reflect.  Wide pathways provide access in and across the site.

McKinnon Memorial Garden is an on-leash area at all times.
