Meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm, with no meeting in January due to the holiday period. The new cycle will commence with the meeting on 4 August 2026, following the conclusion of the current cycle on 30 June 2026. Meeting dates have been planned to account for public and religious holidays and will be reviewed within 12 months. 

This change was made in recognition that Councillors’ roles extend well beyond Ordinary Council Meetings and include workshops and briefings, advisory committees, community engagement, training and professional development requirements, advocacy, and oversight of major projects and long‑term planning. The revised schedule reflects how councillors work across these responsibilities. 

There is no change to public participation. Community members can continue to attend meetings, watch proceedings live or online, submit public questions and access agendas, reports and decisions in the same way they do now.
