Mackie Road Reserve Dog Park officially opens

Local dogs and their owners have a new place to run, play and connect in Bentleigh East.

Mayor Cr Dr Simone Zmood and Cr Kay Rimbaldo joined Member for Bentleigh Nick Staikos MP to celebrate the opening of the new Mackie Road Reserve Dog Park on Friday 30 October.

Located off Orange Street, the new fenced off-leash area gives local dogs a dedicated place to run, play and socialise. It features agility equipment, seating, shelter, drinking fountains, pathways and landscaping.

Designed for dogs and their owners, the park provides a welcoming place to spend time outdoors, connect with other local dog owners and enjoy Mackie Road Reserve.

The project was delivered with support from the Victorian Government’s New and Upgraded Dog Parks Program.
