Bin Trim for businesses

Bin Trim is a free, Council supported program that helps local businesses reduce waste and improve recycling.

The program provides Glen Eira businesses with expert onsite advice from qualified waste assessors and tailored action plans to reduce their waste. The practical, no cost support delivers real environmental and financial benefits — helping businesses save time and money while improving day-to-day operations.

The program operates year-round, with a limited number of places available each year. It’s suitable for businesses of any size or industry, with recommendations tailored to how each business operates. Participation is free, but places are limited.

Register your interest today to be part of building a more sustainable Glen Eira. Once your form is submitted, we’ll review your application and schedule an assessment at a time that works for you.

Less waste to landfill means lower emissions, cleaner neighbourhoods and a healthier local environment for everyone, while supporting a more circular local economy by keeping valuable materials in use for longer.

A circular economy is about using resources more efficiently — reducing waste, reusing materials where possible, and recycling what can’t be reused instead of sending it to landfill. Bin Trim helps businesses play their part by identifying opportunities to reduce waste and keep materials in circulation for longer.

We are committed to supporting businesses to thrive, because strong, sustainable local businesses are essential to a resilient economy and healthy community, while also helping them reduce their environmental impact and operate more efficiently.
