Glen Eira City Council (Council) gives notice under section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) that it intends to sell its land described below (proposal).

The land is abutting 10 Amelia Street McKinnon (Land), being land shown as lot 1 on TP10515, plan below and contained in certificate of title volume 10546 folio 452.

It is proposed that the land shown as lot 1 be sold by private treaty to the owners of 10 Amelia Street McKinnon in accordance with Council policy.

Any person may make a submission on the proposal.

Any person proposing to make a submission under section 223 of the Act must do so by 29 June 2017.

All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Submissions should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, and can be hand delivered to Council’s Municipal Office at corner Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield 3162 or posted to the following address:

Any person requesting to be heard in support of his or her submission is entitled to be heard before Council (or a Committee established by Council for this purpose) or be represented by a person acting on his or her behalf, and will be notified of the time and date of the hearing.

Submissions are not confidential and will be incorporated in full (including all personal information) into the agenda and minutes of the Council Meeting at which they are considered, will be available on Council’s website as part of the relevant agenda and minutes of meeting and will be made available for public inspection in accordance with all applicable statutory requirements including, without limitation, those prescribed by the Act.

Following the consideration of any submission, Council may decide to sell the land, part of the land or not sell the land referred to in the above proposal.
