    Plastic bags

    Plastic bags go in the red general waste bin. 

    Since November 2019, lightweight plastic shopping bags have been banned in Victoria. Ensure to refuse plastic bags should they be offered when shopping. For more information about Victoria's plastic bag ban, visit the EPA Victoria website. 

    Reuse Tip: Opt for reusable shopping bags over plastic bags. Reusable bags are typically sturdier, made of more sustainable materials, and better for the environment.
