COVID-19 update:

On Sunday 6 September 2020, the Premier announced Victoria’s COVID-19 roadmap to reopening. Many of the Stage 4 restrictions remain in place but there have been some slight changes. Find out more here.

Memorial Park

Memorial Park is a popular suburban park where the locals love to relax with a book or a newspaper. It also features a small playground and a memorial wall.

How is COVID-19 impacting our parks?

Our parks and open space remain open for exercise between the permitted times 5am to 9pm.


Exercise is now limited to two hours per day and no more than five kilometres from your home. Two people or a household can meet outdoors for a maximum of two hours for exercise or recreation outside your home, as long as neither of you travel more than five kilometres from your home. Always remember to wear a face covering and practise social distancing.

Playground

The playground has equipment for toddlers as well as young children and includes:

  • slide
  • flying fox
  • monkey bars
  • spinning flowers
  • spring rocker
  • G-pod spinner
  • shade sails for protection from the sun.

Memorial Park is an on-leash area at all times.
