Allnutt Park is a local favourite and has great amenities, including a large playground suitable for all ages and abilities. Its two picnic shelters make it ideal for birthdays, family reunions and work functions, and there are BBQ facilities and public toilets available. You can also shoot hoops at our basketball ring, practice your swing in our birdie golf cage or relax amongst the trees.

Allnutt Park is popular for its playground, parts of which are naturally shaded by the beautiful trees, whilst other areas are under shade sails for some protection from the elements. The large playground has a range of activities including:
- slides
- ladders
- climbing nets
- selection of swings
- a fire truck
- large Bertie the Beetle
- climbing frame
- Parts of the playground have shade sails for protection from the sun.
Picnic shelters and BBQs
Two picnic shelters are available for bookings for a variety of gatherings or celebrations:
- The Wright Street rotunda is right next to the playground.
- The Wheatley Road rotunda is located towards the top of the small hill, slightly further back from the playground. BBQ facilities are located nearby to both picnic shelters.

Please note: fees apply and a minimum of 5 business days’ notice is required for all bookings. BBQs are a free communal facility for all users of the park. They are not included as part of a picnic shelter reservation.
Active recreation
Allnutt Park has opportunities for recreation, including:
- ball court with both basketball and netball rings
- golf birdie cage.
Dog off-leash information
The northern end of Allnutt Park is off-leash, while the southern end is on-leash (including the playground and barbecue area, as well the entrance from Beech Street).
