    Special Council Meeting

    In accordance with rule 17 of the Glen Eira City Council Governance Rules, a Special Council meeting of Glen Eira City Council will be held at 5.00pm on Tuesday 17 November 2026.

    5:00pm Tuesday 17 November 2026
    Glen Eira Town Hall, Council Chambers, 420 Glen Eira Road, Caulfield

    The Special Council meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, and the community is welcome to attend (420 Glen Eira Road, Caulfield). Entry is via the clocktower entrance, corner Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads.

    The meeting will be live-streamed via Council’s website for community members who prefer to watch online.

    Glen Eira City Council’s Governance Rules sets out the order of business under rule 24.2.3 for Special Council meetings and only business listed in the agenda can be transacted.

    The business to be transacted at this meeting will be as follows:

    • Term of Office for the Mayor and Deputy Mayor
    • Election of the Mayor 2026
    • Election of Deputy Mayor 2026
    • Appointment of Councillors to Advisory Committees, External Committees and Other Committees and Reference Groups, and adoption of the Glen Eira Community Safety Reference Group Terms of Reference.
