Glen Eira City Council (“Council”), pursuant to section 204(1) of the Local Government Act 1989 (“Act”) proposes to declare that part of the land shown hatched on the plan below, being part of the titles at 80, 82, 84, and 86-88 Patterson Road, Bentleigh Victoria and being part of the land contained in certificates of title volume 10338 folio 851, volume 8082 folio 762, volume 10380 folio 456, and volume 9706 folio 292, being a road in Council’s municipal district, to be a public highway for the purposes of the Act (“the proposal”).

Any person may make a submission on the proposal. Any person wishing to make a submission must do so in writing by 19 August 2026.
Any person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission that the person wishes to appear in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, at a meeting to be heard in support of that submission.
All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act.

Any person requesting to appear in person or to be represented by a person specified in his or her submission will be notified of the day, time and place of the meeting of the Council or of a committee determined by the Council to hear submissions.
Following consideration of submissions, Council may resolve to declare the road to be a public highway or not to declare the road to be a public highway.

In accordance with section 94(4) of the Local Government Act 1989 (Vic), notice is hereby given that, at the Ordinary Meeting of Glen Eira City Council scheduled for Tuesday 3 September 2019 at 7.30 pm at Glen Eira Town Hall, it is the intention of Glen Eira City Council to resolve to reappoint Ms Rebecca McKenzie as Chief Executive Officer of Glen Eira City Council.
