We’re creating a welcoming, publicly accessible open space for everyone at the former East Boundary Road Traffic School site in Bentleigh East — and we want your feedback on the draft designs.
We know the former traffic school was a much-loved local facility for generations, helping children build confidence and learn essential road safety skills in a safe, hands-on environment.
As we plan for the future, the site will become a public open space designed for everyday use. Two concept options have been developed, both offering opportunities for bike riding, play and community connection.
Both design concepts include:
Upgraded cycling features for young children
New seating, shade, drinking fountains and bike parking
Retaining significant mature trees and more greenery to support biodiversity
Clearer paths and improved navigation
Tell us which concept you prefer and which features should be prioritised. Your feedback will help inform the final design.
