Help shape the future of our neighbourhoods

The Victorian Government is seeking community input on how our local activity centres should grow — including Caulfield, Glen Huntly, Ormond, Bentleigh and Elsternwick.

This is part of its Activity Centres Program — Stage Two, which aims to deliver more homes near shops, jobs and public transport.

The consultation involves two phases:

  • Phase one (until Sunday 30 November 2025): an opportunity to share your thoughts through an online survey.
  • Community Reference Group (CRG): a group of local representatives will be formed to review community feedback and help guide the Victorian Government planning team. Meetings are scheduled for late February 2026.
  • Phase two (Early 2026): the draft plans will be released for further feedback before they are finalised.

Your input is essential to help shape how these state plans affect our neighbourhood. We strongly encourage you to:

  • complete the online survey
  • attend information sessions
  • apply to join the Community Reference Group

Please share what matters to you most — from safety, heritage and local character to housing, transport and open space.

Consultation is open until Sunday 30 November 2025.
