From September to October, a range of sports are on offer for children to come and try for free.
In partnership with local charity TeamSports4All, a variety of sporting sessions are available for the kids of Glen Eira. They include cricket, baseball, tennis, and croquet.
Sessions will take place across a range of different local sporting clubs within Glen Eira. It will be a great opportunity for children to connect with a sport, and experience the social and physical benefits of participating in a sport in a supportive and inclusive environment.
We know our community values access to services and programs that support social connection and wellbeing, however we know that isn’t always something all families can afford.
The sessions will provide an opportunity for eligible families to connect with TeamSports4All and access financial support for their children for the upcoming season and following seasons. All you need to provide is a government healthcare card.
The first session begins on Friday 6 September with cricket at Carnegie South Cricket Club.
