Council working towards keeping Glen Eira moving

People travel by many means, for different reasons and on different occasions. Building a more efficient transport future for Glen Eira challenges us to look more closely at the different ways we get around together.

People travel by many means, for different reasons and on different occasions. Building a more efficient transport future for Glen Eira challenges us to look more closely at the different ways we get around together.

Council has recently endorsed a suite of documents that will help us to deliver our vision for better and more transport choices for residents. These are now available for community review and feedback.

We know that there will be a diverse range of views on what we are proposing for walking and accessibility, cycling, public transport, and parking. We have also issued more detailed information on the next stage of our consideration of a Safe Cycling Corridor.

The documents are either in draft or pilot stages and to help us get them right, we need your input.
