Council’s occasional care programs — here for you

Need a break? Perhaps you are working or studying from home or are new to the area and want to introduce your child to other children? Council’s occasional care services provide flexible care for children aged between six weeks and six years.

Council manages two occasional care services for families in Glen Eira — Carnegie Occasional Care and GESAC

Occasional Care. Both services provide affordable care and age appropriate education for children on a casual basis.

Carnegie Occasional Care Centre is staffed by qualified educators, offering an inclusive and nurturing program, with sessions available on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the school term.

GESAC Occasional Care offers your child the highest quality care in a safe and secure environment. Sessions are available Monday to Friday in the morning.

For session times, fees and further information on how to book, visit www.gleneira.vic.gov.au/services/family-and-children
