As part of Council’s new website, we have developed a New Residents’ Guide.
The New Residents’ Guide tells you how to contact Council or get involved and contribute ideas, provide feedback and exchange views with others on key decisions and priorities in Glen Eira.
We’ve also bundled together some useful tips to help orientate and immerse you in the Glen Eira community. Discover our heritage-listed architecture, events and festivals, and the many Council services you have access to.
This Guide is part of the Guides to Glen Eira series that is being developed to let you know how Council can help you with some of your key life events, such as becoming a new parent, starting a business or building a house.

Council’s grooviest outdoor event series returns this month. The first event in the popular Groove and Graze series will take place on Saturday 26 October at Halley Park, Jasper Road, Bentleigh.

Council’s Springtime Music Series continues in November with two free outdoor events to be held in McKinnon Reserve and Mallanbool Reserve. Grab a picnic rug, your friends and family for an afternoon of music.
