We relocated non-native ducks and geese from Caulfield Park Lake. This is part of our commitment to improving the lake’s ecosystem and supporting native plant and animal species.
We’re happy to report that the exotic ducks and geese that lived at Caulfield Park Lake have been successfully introduced to a wonderful new home in central Victoria.
The large site includes an expansive lake and new waterfowl friends, so we're confident these well-loved birds will thrive in their new environment.
This will allow us to make improvements to Caulfield Park Lake to make it more attractive to native water birds.
