Glen Eira City Council (Council) acting under section 189 of the Local Government Act 1989 (the Act), proposes to sell part of the discontinued road abutting 2 Almond Street, Caulfield South, shown as Lot 1 on TP959877R (Land) forming part of certificate of title volume 4506 folio 030 and shown on the plan below as Lot 1.
It is proposed that the Land be sold by private treaty to the owners of 2 Almond Street, Caulfield South in accordance with Council policy.
In accordance with section 223 of the Act, any person wishing to make a submission on the proposal must do so in writing no later than Monday 22 February 2021.

A person making a submission is entitled to request in the submission that they wish to appear in person, or to be represented by a person specified in the submission, in support of the submission at a meeting of Council or its committee on a date, time and place to be determined by Council.
Any person making a written submission under section 223 of the Act is advised that all submissions and personal information in the submission will be handled by Council in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014.
All submissions will be considered in accordance with section 223 of the Act. Following consideration of submissions, if any, Council may resolve to sell the Land, part of the Land, or not to sell the Land.
