We’re upgrading the sportsground lighting around Oval 1 at Lord Reserve, Carnegie.
Status: Delayed
Timeline: Works began in March 2025 and were expected to be completed by June 2025. Works are now due to be completed by the end of 2025.
As part of our priority to maintain open spaces and recreation facilities, we are upgrading the sportsground lighting around Oval 1 at Lord Reserve. This will include installing 100 lux LED light globes.
These upgrades will enhance the sporting facilities for sports clubs and enable increased participation and sportsground usage.
This project reflects our commitment to improving access, quality and safety at our recreation facilities. It also aligns with our commitment to upgrading infrastructure that supports gender equitable access and participation by women and girls in community sport.
This project is being developed by Glen Eira City Council in partnership with the Victorian Government through the Community Support Fund.
