As part of our priority to maintain open spaces and recreation facilities, we've upgraded the sportsground lighting throughout Koornang Park. This includes installing 150 lux LED light globes.

These upgrades will enhance the sporting facilities for sports clubs and enable increased participation and sportsground usage. 

This project reflects our commitment to improved access, quality and safety at our sports and recreation facilities. It also aligns with our commitment to upgrading infrastructure that supports gender equitable access and participation by women and girls in community sport.   

This project is being developed by Glen Eira City Council in partnership with the Victorian Government through the Community Support Fund.
