Caulfield Park lake seating walls

We’re building a new footpath and bluestone seating walls at Caulfield Park, to connect the deck with the arbour above the lake. Read on for more information about the works.

What’s happening?

We’re building:

  • three levels of bluestone seating walls between the arbour and the viewing platform on the lake’s edge, using our collection of recycled stones
  • a new granite footpath to provide more access to the lake

When’s it happening?

Works are due to begin in mid-June and will be completed by late July, weather permitting.

What are the impacts?

Works will take place between 7am–4pm on weekdays and 8am–4pm on Saturdays, if required. You may notice some noise and dust from the site during these times, but our contractor will do their best to minimise this.

The southern end of the lake will be closed to the public during the works and our contractor will set up temporary fencing around the area. Please follow signage onsite when travelling through the area.
