Activities are open to young people aged 12 up to 18 years old with a connection to Glen Eira. Bookings open Monday 1 September at 9am and close Friday 12 September at 5pm.

Merindah-Gunya Art Workshop

Wednesday 24 September

From South-West of Victoria, Merinda-Gunya is a proud Peek Whurrong women of Maar Nation. Merinda-Gunya has created a variety of Indigenous Murals and taught canvas and drawing workshops across schools in Melbourne.

Join us as she hosts an art workshop at Glen Eiras own art gallery, using colourful paints to introduce symbols and how to tell a story.

Time: 1pm to 3pm
What to bring: Water bottle
Drop off/Pick up: Glen Eira Town Hall, Corner Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield
Cost: $11 or Free for Health Care Card holders


All Ability Sport @ GESAC

Thursday 25 September

Join us at GESAC this Spring as we play sport with a whole new perspective. This school holiday activity will introduce participants to another level of ball sports you may already know but still be introduced to something new about it, regardless you’ll be having fun and breaking a sweat!

Time: 10.30am to 1pm
What also to bring: Water bottle, snacks
Drop off/Pick up: GESAC, 200 E Boundary Rd, Bentleigh East
Cost: $6 or Free for Health Care Card holders


The Flicks

Tuesday 30 September

Put your feet up on the recliners and enjoy a chill school holiday afternoon at Village Cinemas Southland.

Please note movie session will not be released until closer to the actual date of activity.

Time: 1pm to 5pm
What to bring: Water bottle, lunch, snacks, MYKI card
Drop off/Pick up: MYKI card, lunch or snacks, money to purchase food (please note some businesses may not accept cash)
Cost: $11 or Free for Health Care Card holders


Dungeons & Dragons

Wednesday 1 October

Have a love for mythical worlds that have beasts, wizards, elves, orcs and more? Come down and meet our Dungeon Master as he takes you on an epic journey in which you uncover secrets, battle deadly foes, and find treasure.

Dungeons and Dragons is a role-playing interactive tabletop game that will have you immersed in its story filled with monsters and intrigue. If you love board games and fantasy this one is for you.

Time: 10.30am to 1.30pm
What to bring: snacks, lunch and water bottle
Drop off/Pick up: Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub, 161 Jasper Road, Bentleigh

Met Art World

Thursday 2 October

Join us as we head to one of Melbourne’s prolific virtual reality (VR) theme parks. Stick your VR goggles on and step into a world of cutting-edge technology that brings your wildest imaginations to life. VR experience includes single and multiplayer games such rollercoaster rides, car racing and much more.

Time: 10am to 1pm
What to bring: Snacks and water bottle
Drop off/Pick up: Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub, 161 Jasper Road, Bentleigh
Cost: $6 or Free for Health Care Holders.
