Spring Teen School Holiday Program

Activities are open to young people aged 12 to 18 years old. All participants must Live, Work or Study in the City of Glen Eira. Bookings open 9am Wednesday 25 August and close 9am Wednesday 8 September. 

The running of all activities will be subject to current COVID-19 restrictions, as detailed by the Victorian State Government and Glen Eira City Council. In the event where the activity is unable to go ahead due to said restrictions, Youth Services will issue full refunds to ticket holders.

Bookings for activities are made online and places are limited.

What came first, the chicken or Playstation 1? Kick-off your holidays by joining us for a fun-filled Retro Games Day — Online! We will be taking a trip back in time to put your gaming skills to the test! Original is still the best — you don’t want to miss this games day.

Join us on a journey through the ancient world and marvel at the objects that changed the course of history. Explore artefacts, tombs and learn about facts that still perplex scientists and archaeologist’s today!

Thursday 23 September

Register to receive your very own art pack, and paint along with our art class hosted by none other than your favourite youth workers from Glen Eira! It will be a joyful experience and we can follow clear instructions to paint a pretty picture together.

Time: 12pm to 1.30pm
What to bring: art pack supplied by Youth Services, wear clothes you don’t mind getting a bit messy


Trivia Arvo @ Online via ZOOM

Tuesday 28 September

What could be more classic than an afternoon filled with healthy competition?

The Trivia Arvo is back, get yourself ready for an afternoon session of Q&A fit for your trivia dreams. Think that you are a Trivia aficionado? We dare you to join! This is no walk in the park. Roll up, and be swept up, in the classic Trivia Arvo.

Time: 1.30pm to 2.30pm
What to bring: pen and paper


Wednesday 29 September

Be a real whisk-taker and make your dreams crumb true! Love baking? Of course, you do! We invite you to join us for an afternoon of baking, right in your very own home! This is your opportunity to learn some new recipes and rise to the challenge! Bake the world a better place and surprise your family with a wonderful treat these school holidays.

Time: 1pm to 2.30pm 
What to bring: ingredients from shopping list (supplied by Youth Services via email), clean hands, apron.​


YCSAG Arvo @ Online via ZOOM

Thursday 30 September

Join the Youth Climate and Sustainability Action Group to learn their earth-saving techniques through a variety of activities and trivia held online. No pre-knowledge is required but you will walk away with some handy tricks to start around the home!

Time: 12pm to 1pm
What to bring: popcorn, snacks, comfy pillows
