Nitrous oxide canisters are banned from any household or public bins. Collections can be organised through Transnitro or check with the retailer for a take-back scheme. These should never go in any recycling bin or general waste bin as they are a hazardous item. The lack of disposal options for this item is a concern, and we urge our community to help advocate and ask retailers for more take-back schemes.
