    Corflute can be disposed of in the red general waste bin.

    Natural corks can currently be recycled through a pilot program by ReCork at participating Dan Murphy's stores.

    Couches in good condition can be donated to select op shops or to those in need via Donate Direct.

    Aluminium and steel

    Cream canister and nitrous oxide canisters

    Nitrous oxide canisters are banned from any household or public bins. Collections can be organised through Transnitro or check with the retailer for a take-back scheme. These should never go in any recycling bin or general waste bin as they are a hazardous item. The lack of disposal options for this item is a concern, and we urge our community to help advocate and ask retailers for more take-back schemes.

    Crockery in good condition can be donated to op shops.

    Cutlery in good condition can be rehomed or donated.

    Dairy

    Dairy leftovers can be composted in your green bin alongside your garden waste.

    Dental floss goes in the red general waste bin. Empty dental floss containers can be recycled in the yellow recycling bin.
