Bicycles in good condition can be re-homed through Brainwave Bikes and other organisations at participating retailers.
Homewares
Blankets in good condition can be donated to charities, op shops or animal shelters.
Aluminium and steel, Plastics
Empty blister packs can be recycled at participating retailers through Pharmacycle.
Organic
Bones can be composted in your green bin alongside your garden waste.
Stationery, Paper
Books in good condition can be donated to op shops or little free libraries, or on-sold, either directly or to secondhand stores.
Glass, Plastics, Aluminium and steel
Bottle tops and caps can be reattached to clean bottles to be recycled. Loose bottle tops go in the red general waste bin.
Glass, Plastics
Bottles (glass and plastic) can be recycled in your yellow bin.
Chemicals, Car or vehicle related
Brake fluid can be safely disposed of through Sustainability Victoria's Detox Your Home program.
Organic
Small branches can be composted in the green bin. Larger branches can be removed through a bundled branch collection.
Clothing
Bras (in good condition or brand new) can be donated to Support the Girls Australia.
Organic
Leftover bread can be composted in the green bin alongside your garden waste.
