Sticky tape

Because sticky tapes incorporate a mix of materials, typically plastic or fibre and adhesives, they aren't recycled.

It's best to remove tape from other recyclable materials, like paper and cardboard, where possible. However, a small volume of tape is not a serious contaminant as it can be removed when the material is pulped.
