    Oil heaters

    Empty oil heaters can be recycled through our hard rubbish collection service.

    Remnant oil can be recycled for $1 per litre at the Port Phillip Resource Recovery Centre. Other waste transfer stations may accept oil. Waste transfer stations frequently review the items that they collect. It’s best to contact the station before taking materials for disposal.

    Alternatively, oil can be disposed of at Detox Your Home events. Check the Sustainability Victoria website for upcoming events.
