Community Planting Day

Come along to the Community Planting Day and help us plant 3000 native plants throughout King George VI Memorial Reserve, including shrubs, grasses and groundcovers — all of which will support the recently planted trees and increase habitat available to local wildlife.

Plants will include species such as Bulbine bulbosa — a small lily with yellow flowers, Brachyscome multifida — a small shrub with purple flowers and Veronica gracilis — a small herb with white flowers, along with other native species.

We strongly recommend bringing gloves, sturdy, closed toe shoes, a sun hat, and water bottle.
