How is COVID-19 impacting our parks?

For the continued good health of our community and as a measure to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 we will:

  • Not be accepting bookings for groups of more than 20 people (this will be reviewed on the 22nd June 2020).
  • Lawn bowls equipment at Packer Park will not be available for use.

Our playgrounds, outdoor gyms, skate park, netball courts, basketball hoops are now open and sportsgrounds are open to approved sports clubs. People should not gather in groups of more than 20, and stay 1.5 metres apart from others where possible.

Note: Playgrounds will now be included in Citywide’s Working for Victoria cleaning blitz which is funded by the State Government. We strongly encourage the community to still take their own precautions and practice safe hygiene. For further information on the cleaning blitz, visit Citywide's website.

Lord Reserve features three sports ovals that have a perimeter walking path for a casual stroll. With neighbouring Koornang Park and Carnegie Swim Centre, these locations team together to create a range of leisure activities in one convenient place!

A large shelter located near the sports pavilion on Munro Avenue provides a cover for picnic table, benches and use of the BBQ facilities.

Active recreation

Lord Reserve has many opportunities for sport and recreation, including:

  • three sports grounds (cricket and soccer)
  • external walking/running pathways
  • cricket training nets

Did you know? Lord Reserve is home to Carnegie Cricket Club, Carnegie South Cricket Club, Monash Gryphons Cricket Club, Glen Eira Football (soccer) Club, Caulfield Cougars Soccer Club and Glen Eira Junior Soccer Club.

Dog leash information

All of Lord Reserve is an off-leash park. However, dogs should be on-leash within 20m of the picnic shelter and BBQ facilities.
