How is COVID-19 impacting our parks?

For the continued good health of our community and as a measure to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 we will:

  • Not be accepting bookings for groups of more than 20 people (this will be reviewed on the 22nd June 2020).
  • Lawn bowls equipment at Packer Park will not be available for use.

Our playgrounds, outdoor gyms, skate park, netball courts, basketball hoops are now open and sportsgrounds are open to approved sports clubs. People should not gather in groups of more than 20, and stay 1.5 metres apart from others where possible.

Note: Playgrounds will now be included in Citywide’s Working for Victoria cleaning blitz which is funded by the State Government. We strongly encourage the community to still take their own precautions and practice safe hygiene. For further information on the cleaning blitz, visit Citywide's website.
