These 3 Holm Oaks are the largest and oldest of several Holm Oaks growing throughout the historic Caulfield Park and each tree is a major feature within the landscape in their individual settings.


Tree 3 is the oldest and largest of the trees and is a particularly old and large example of the species within the entire municipality, estimated at over 80 years of age, with an outstanding canopy spread of 24m and a trunk girth in excess of 4m.
All 3 trees are well-formed and striking, providing substantial visual appeal and contributing to the overall aesthetics of the park. They provide substantial amenities to park users as well as the wider community.
As they are all large, mature, healthy and well-formed trees, they are all considered to be outstanding examples of their species within the municipality, with Tree 3 considered significant at the wider regional level.
