Gallery Two Applications now open for 2027 and 2028

We are currently inviting applications for exhibitions in the Glen Eira City Council Gallery in 2027 and 2028. 

The Glen Eira City Council Gallery is a large flexible space within the Glen Eira Town Hall. It has two gallery spaces, both with LED lighting and a flexible hanging system: 

Gallery: 400 square metre exhibition space is available for hire by not-for-profit arts organisations, community groups, artist and textile collectives, schools and high-profile individuals. The Gallery is typically available for hire for a four-week period.  

To apply, applicants must address the following selection criteria:

  1. Live, work, or study in the City of Glen Eira.
  2. Clarity of theme/concept of the exhibition.
  3. Appropriateness of the exhibition or the project to Gallery Two.
  4. Promotes creativity, innovation, inclusion, accessibility and diversity.
  5. Local content or interest and connection to the Glen Eira community.
  6. It’s easy to apply. Simply submit your online hire application via the link below including your CV, six high-quality artwork images, and a short statement (maximum 200 words) about the exhibition concept by Friday 31 July 2026.

Applications will be assessed against the selection criteria above. This is a competitive process and a gallery place is not guaranteed until assessment is finalized.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by email within five weeks of the application deadline.
