    Integrated Planning and Reporting

    Integrated planning and reporting help us work towards shared goals and focus our resources on what matters most to the community. It also helps us keep our community informed and supports us to change our plans when needed.

    Our approach makes sure our strategies, plans and activities support the Glen Eira 2040 Community Vision and the Council Plan 2025–2029. This approach is required by the Local Government Act 2020 and helps Council make decisions, stay accountable, and deliver results for the community.

    Our strategies, plans and reports work together

    Our Community Vision was created by and for the community. It guides our Council Plan, which sets strategic directions and priorities for four years.

    Resource plans such as our Budget help us align our finances, workforce and assets to the services and facilities we provide. Strategic plans and service plans explain how we will deliver services, facilities and initiatives to achieve our Council Plan priorities.

    We report back through documents such as the Mid-Year Report and the Annual Report. These show what we planned to do, what we delivered, and how we’re tracking.

    Our Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework helps us to:

    • Make sure our strategies and plans work together to achieve the Community Vision and Council Plan.
    • Focus our efforts and resources on the outcomes our community needs and wants.
    • Measure and report on the impact of our services and activities.

    Update plans when community needs and expectations change.
