Express your creativity in Glen Eira’s Youth Art Exhibition – Self-Expression

Share your creativity and artistic passion in Glen Eira City Council’s annual Youth Art Exhibition – Self-Expression.

Open to everyone aged between five and 25 who lives, works or studies in Glen Eira, the Exhibition will be held at Glen Eira City Council Gallery between 1 September and 2 October.

The Exhibition will also be accessible online @gleneiraartexpo following the close of the formal exhibition.

Glen Eira Mayor Cr Jim Magee said the Exhibition recognised young people’s creativity and artistic passion.

“The Exhibition accepts different art forms from drawings, sketches and graphics, to paintings, textile design and sculptures,” he said.

“Glen Eira City Council’s Youth Event and Leadership Team plans, promotes and hosts the Exhibition.”

There are prizes in four age categories:

  • Five — nine years
  • 10–13 years
  • 14–17 years and
  • 18–25 years.

Submissions are now open, and close at 5pm on Friday 19 August. Artwork can be registered at www.gleneira.vic.gov.au/yae or via QR Code. Instructions for dropping off your work will be sent after registration.

Presentation night will be held on Thursday 15 September at Glen Eira City Council Gallery.

Residents encouraged to keep recycling
