World Mental Health Day
World Mental Health Day encourages everyone to have conversations about mental health. This year’s theme - Connect with your Community, reminds us to connect in ways that make us feel supported and safe.
Connecting with our communities – the people and places where we feel safe, seen and heard – can help us feel supported and improve our mental health and wellbeing. Community can take any shape and be found at home, work, school, in recreation and volunteer activities and more.
This year’s 2025 World Mental Health Day calendar includes daily tips throughout October for good mental health. To view or download your calendar see below. You can find other free resources by visiting the Mental Health Australia website.
We’re lucky in Glen Eira to have a range of parks and leisure facilities throughout our city that provide spaces to stay connected to our community. Find out about our sports and leisure facilities.
For our young people aged 10-25, our Youth Services provide one-on-one consultation sessions with our youth workers. These free and confidential sessions offer opportunities for discussions about mental health, creating connections and referrals to specialised local services.
