Council’s Student Achievement Award Program

Council’s Student Achievement Award Program acknowledges the municipality’s secondary school students who demonstrate outstanding achievement, leadership skills or who are role models for other students and community members. Nominations for Student Achievement Awards will open in July 2021.

Last year, 83 students were nominated by 14 schools to receive an Award. Students will receive a certificate of recognition, as well as a $40 book voucher from Benn’s Books, Bentleigh; Avenue Bookstore, Elsternwick; or Golds World of Judaica, Balaclava.

Glen Eira Mayor Cr Margaret Esakoff said the Award is an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and contributions of inspirational young people in our community.
