Glen Eira City Council has partnered with Solar Savers to make it easy for the Glen Eira community to install a quality solar photovoltaic system from an accredited installer.
Solar Savers protects you against rising energy costs, while also supporting you to power your home with clean energy. Solar Savers supports everyone in the community, from low-income households to home-businesses.
Solar Savers takes the hard work out of solar by choosing a trusted installer with quality solar systems and workmanship. This is done through a bulk buy scheme.
The program is being rolled out across 10 Victorian councils during 2020. Solar Savers participants may also be eligible for the Victorian Government Solar Rebate. Households are encouraged to register their interest in the state rebate by visiting www.solar.vic.gov.au.

Despite reported issues with SKM recycling facilities and major disruptions in the recycling industry, Council’s recycling service remains unaffected and recyclables from our waste services are not going to landfill.
