    Citizenship ceremony cancelled due to severe weather

    Due to severe weather and strong wind warnings, Glen Eira City Council has cancelled tonight’s citizenship ceremony.

    We understand this will be deeply disappointing for those who were due to attend. Becoming an Australian citizen is a major milestone, and we’re sorry you won’t receive your certificate tonight.

    The Department of Home Affairs will contact attendees directly with rescheduling details.
