    Reminder pool or spa certificate of barrier compliance

    If you have a pool or spa that was constructed on or before 30 June 1994, you need to lodge your first certificate of barrier compliance by Wednesday 1 June 2022.

    When we receive the certificate, we will send you a written notice, which confirms:

    • the date the certificate was lodged
    • the date by which the next certificate is required to be lodged, which is four years after the first certificate.

    The cost of lodging the certificate is $20.44

    In the coming days, Glen Eira swimming pool owners will be receiving correspondence from Council’s Planning and Building Compliance team requesting that information be confirmed to formalise the registration of their pools and spas.
