In response to Melbourne’s continued growth, the State Government’s Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) has released a Draft Land Use Framework Plans across Metro Melbourne, including a plan for the Inner South East region (Glen Eira, Boroondara, Stonnington and Bayside Council areas).
The Inner South East Metro Land Use Framework Plan is a 30-year strategic vision providing guidance on how the State will shape population and industry growth, plan for service and infrastructure development, guide public and private investment, protect the distinctive and historic characteristics of the Inner South East Region and improve environmental resilience.
