Meet the mayor

Have you got an idea or issue you’d like to discuss with Glen Eira Mayor Cr Dr Simone Zmood?

Join us at one of our Meet the Mayor pop-up sessions, held at locations across Glen Eira.

The first session for 2026 will be held at the Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub — Thursday 28 May, 11am to 1pm

These popup sessions give community members the opportunity to speak directly with the Mayor. You’re welcome to ask questions or share feedback about local issues that matter to you — whether it’s roads, rates or rubbish, or arts, culture and recreation services.

You might want to raise a concern, ask for something to be fixed, or simply say thank you for a service that has helped you.

Local government is the closest level of government to the community — and these sessions make it even more accessible.

No bookings are required. Just turn up to the session that suits you.

Please note: In the event of bad weather, sessions will be rescheduled.
