Glen Eira City Council offices will reopen Tuesday 12 March

Glen Eira Town Hall, the Council Gallery and the Caulfield Library will reopen from Tuesday 12 March 2024 after the Department of Health provided written advice a case of legionella was not acquired on Council’s premises.

With an abundance of caution, Council is also taking the opportunity to deep clean and disinfect our air conditioning and water filtration systems. We are confident that the Town Hall is safe to re-enter and will continue to conduct our own testing over the long weekend.

Thank you to the community for your patience, especially to those who had planned to attend events at the Town Hall over the weekend. While we were incredibly disappointed to have to cancel or postpone our events, our number one priority is always the safety of our staff, Councillors and community.  We look forward to welcoming you back when we re-open on Tuesday morning.

In the meantime, our call centre remains open. Residents can continue to contact us by phone on 03 9524 3333, by email at mail@gleneira.vic.gov.au, or via our website.
