Council hosts Koorie Chill Out at Booran Reserve

To recognise the significance of the date for our First Nations people and to promote understanding, respect and reconciliation, Glen Eira City Council will host a free, family-friendly event on Sunday 26 January.

Community members are invited to join us at the Koorie Chill Out at Booran Reserve in Glen Huntly.

To be held from 6pm to 8pm, there will be a smoking ceremony and Welcome to Country.

There will also be music by Pirritu, Aboriginal face painting by Yarn Strong Sista, crafts, the Djirri Djirri Dance Group and a barbecue dinner.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
