Have your say on the proposed commuter multi-deck car parks in Elsternwick and Bentleigh

In October 2021, Council reached out to the community for its views around accepting federal funding to construct commuter multi-deck car parks in Bentleigh and Elsternwick under the Urban Congestion Fund.

Based on the feedback from the community, Council decided to begin a thorough, detailed feasibility study and further site assessment for the proposed multi-deck project.

Council began the study and drafted conceptual designs in January 2022 and completed them in May. Council has initiated a further round of engagement to share the outcomes of the project feasibility phase and welcomes community feedback to inform a future decision on the next steps for the proposed commuter multi-deck car parks in Elsternwick and Bentleigh.

Community engagement is now open until 3 July 2022. To find out more, read the feasibility assessments and participate in the consultation process, visit our Have Your Say website.
