Glen Eira Multi-deck car parks (abandoned)
Council decided not to proceed with the proposed multi-deck commuter car park projects in Bentleigh and Elsternwick.
From 13–24 July, we will be installing new external signage around Glen Eira Town Hall. During this time, there may be short periods when some signs are temporarily unavailable. If you require assistance navigating the site, please speak with one of our staff members.

We are upgrading the Mackie Road Local Centre in Bentleigh East with new streetscape works to make the area safer, more accessible and welcoming for everyone.
We are delivering a range of streetscape improvements to improve safety, accessibility and amenity at Mackie Road Local Centre. Works include:
The upgrades will make the area easier to navigate, more comfortable to spend time in, and better connected for pedestrians and local businesses.
Works are scheduled to begin in mid-May and be completed by mid-June, weather permitting.
During construction, you might notice some noise and dust. Our contractors will do their best to keep this to a minimum. The street will remain accessible for all, though traffic management and reduced parking are expected for some periods while the kerb outstands are transformed. Please follow directions from traffic controllers and traffic management signage to safely travel through the area.
We will continue to provide updates through Council’s website and on-site signage during construction. Interpreter services are available for community members who need them.
