This essential maintenance work is to help improve drainage in the area.

What’s happening and when?

We are upgrading the existing stormwater easement drainage pipes, pits and associated house drain connections at rear of 46-62 Moylan Street and 45-61 Lancaster Street, Bentleigh East.

Works are due to begin on Monday 9 November and are expected to be completed end of December, weather permitting. We have appointed Habitat Civil Pty Ltd to undertake the works.

What are the impacts?

Works will take place between 7am to 6pm weekdays. During this time, you may notice some noise and dust from the worksite and our contractors will do their best to minimise this.

There will be no road closures and the street will remain open, but please follow the directions of traffic controllers and signage to safely travel through the area. A temporary barricade will also be place around the work area for safety.

All kerbside waste will not be impacted by the works.
