    Music Mayhem

    Music Mayhem is calling out to the next generation of local music talent to take the stage and make their mark.

    This exciting live music competition invites young soloists, duos, groups and bands of all musical genres to showcase their sound, compete for prizes, and earn ultimate Glen Eira bragging rights. 

    Open to musicians aged 12 to 25 years, Music Mayhem celebrates creativity, diversity and emerging talent from across the community. Whether you’re a bedroom producer, singer songwriter, rock band, rapper, jazz trio or electronic act, Music Mayhem welcomes all styles and all vibes. 

    To be eligible, musicians must live, work, or study within Glen Eira. For bands and groups, at least one member must have a strong connection to Glen Eira. This ensures Music Mayhem remains a true platform for amplifying local youth voices and supporting home‑grown talent. 

    Music Mayhem is more than a competition—it’s an opportunity for young musicians to build confidence, gain live performance experience, connect with other creatives, and be recognised for their passion and talent in front of a supportive local audience.

    Expressions of interest close Sunday May 24 at 11:59pm.

    Music Mayhem will take place on Saturday July 11, 2026 at Glen Eira Town Hall Auditorium.
