Our Solar Savers program is making it easier for you to install a quality and affordable solar system.

Solar Savers supports Glen Eira residents by offering trustworthy solar quotes and installations of quality rooftop solar PV systems and batteries by an accredited installer. The program is open to all homeowners, and businesses in Glen Eira, including rental properties.

For a limited time, a $500 discount is available on new Solar PV systems (with or without a battery). The discount is available to all homeowners in Glen Eira until exhausted. Residents with a Pensioner Concession Card will be prioritised to support the whole community to access the benefits of solar power.

Join the growing number of Glen Eira residents enjoying the benefits of solar – almost 15 percent of local rooftops have solar panels. With current Victorian Government rebates, your solar system could pay itself back within three to five years (without batteries). Quality solar panels last at least 25 years.

Eligible households, including rental properties, and businesses can access a rebate for the installation of solar panels on their property through the Victorian Government’s Solar Victoria program. Landlords can also apply for an interest-free loan to further reduce the upfront cost of the solar panel system.
