Become a Glen Eira Sustainability Champion
Our Sustainability Champions program can help turn your ideas into action.
If you live, work or study in Glen Eira, this free 10-week program offers training and support to help you create change and deliver local environmental projects.
By participating you will:
- Connect with other local people who are passionate about the environment and their community.
- Be part of a growing movement of local people taking climate and sustainability action in Glen Eira.
- Build your capacity to develop project ideas into real world action.
- Gain an understanding of the climate and sustainability challenges in our local environment.
- Develop knowledge and skills around effective behaviour change, leadership and advocacy.
The program will run on Wednesday evenings from 8 May until Wednesday 14 August (excluding school holidays) plus one daytime session on Sunday 19 May.

The application deadline for our 2024 program has been extended. Expressions of interest will be assessed on a rolling basis.

Sustainability Champions program participants will be selected based on responses provided in the form. Applicants will be notified in mid-April 2024.
